Marketing & sales
Positioning, messaging, customer relationships, go-to-market strategy, and the commercial conversations that turn interest into action.
MEET KYLE HENDERSON
I take the work seriously.
I believe we can enjoy the people we do it with.
I’m a founder, executive, advisor, and relationship builder. My favorite part of business has always been the people: what drives them, what’s possible when they connect, and what helps them do their best work.
The experience behind the perspective
A LITTLE LESS FORMAL
Boardroom or break room.
The person matters.
I’m interested in people before I’m impressed by positions.
I’ve worked with founders, executives, investors, family-office principals, nonprofit leaders, and people on the front lines of a business. The common ground is rarely a résumé. It’s curiosity, respect, and the feeling that someone is actually listening.
My natural setting is a real conversation: finding the point everyone is circling, making room for an honest answer, and helping people see what’s possible. A little humor helps. So does knowing when to stop talking.
Under pressure, I get calmer—not louder. I’m optimistic about what people can build, skeptical of easy answers, and comfortable saying, “Let’s look at what’s actually happening.”
What I want for a client is straightforward: a clearer head, a stronger plan, and the energy to act on it. Feeling understood and being challenged are not opposites. The best working relationships make room for both.
Good people. Honest conversations. Meaningful progress.
That’s my kind of business.
WHERE I DO MY BEST WORK
The best marketing understands people. The best sales builds trust. The best leadership gives people a reason to care.
Positioning, messaging, customer relationships, go-to-market strategy, and the commercial conversations that turn interest into action.
Seeing the bigger picture, testing assumptions, evaluating opportunities, and deciding where attention and resources belong.
Leadership, hiring, motivation, expectations, and creating the conditions for people to contribute with clarity and confidence.
Partnerships, investor and client communication, events, expense efficiency, and making sure the right conversations lead somewhere.
THE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Two decades across company building, executive leadership, investment participation, and nonprofit work.
Relaunching a founder-led business advisory practice focused on marketing, sales, strategy, leadership, people, and commercial execution. Clients work directly with Kyle through defined sessions, projects, and recurring engagements.
Earlier role: Managing Director & Founder, July 2020–February 2026. Supported founders and executives through an independent advisory and venture-building platform.
Co-founded a specialized sewer and drain restoration company built around Bluelight LED CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) technology. Help lead strategy, marketing, sales, partnerships, financials, operating systems, and supporting SaaS development and integrations.
The work spans go-to-market planning, referral and channel relationships, project evaluation, estimating, scheduling, and customer communication.
Founded, built, and led a processor-agnostic payments advisory business. Built a network of 200+ agents facilitating billions of dollars in annual payment-processing volume. Led sales, recruiting, merchant relationships, partnerships, and commercial negotiations.
Managing Partner through February 2026; Partner & Co-Founder since then, following an intentional transition out of day-to-day management. Processing volume is distinct from company revenue.
Co-founded a private real estate investment vehicle focused on apartments and multifamily opportunities. Participate in select acquisitions and development projects through general-partner interests.
My participation is investment-oriented, rather than day-to-day property operations.
Served as President of a private family office with investment activity across real estate, private equity, professional sports, public markets, and operating companies. Provided strategic leadership, operational oversight, investment support, and executive coordination.
Worked with founders, executives, operators, attorneys, accountants, and external advisors on complex, high-priority business matters.
Led strategy, partnerships, grantmaking, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement focused on overdose prevention, addiction recovery, harm reduction, and public-health impact.
Contributed to collaborative efforts that helped distribute more than one million doses of Narcan/naloxone nationwide. Grantees and partners included Yale University’s Program in Addiction Medicine, Mobilize Recovery, The Naloxone Project, and The Voices Project.
Invested in early-stage and growth companies through Denver Angels. Evaluated founders, leadership teams, business models, markets, and go-to-market strategies as part of private-company investment diligence.
Served as Chief of Staff for a commercial real estate investment and development firm whose national portfolio exceeded 14.4 million square feet.
Worked across strategic priorities, marketing, business development, investor relations, recruiting, culture, and operational execution. Oversaw brand messaging and external communications and supported executive events and relationship development.
Co-founded and led a nonprofit platform focused on entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and community engagement. Built executive speaker events and leadership programming, and managed sponsorships, partnerships, and communications.
Programming featured leaders from organizations including RE/MAX, Keller Williams, the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Rockies, Molson Coors, and the University of Colorado.
My family and I appeared in Hanging with the Hendersons, a television series that aired internationally for two seasons.
Joined XJET as one of its first team members, helping shape business development, sales, marketing, and client relationships for a private aviation brand.
Worked directly with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs, corporate principals, and aviation clients, supporting luxury positioning and high-touch service.
Current, former, and investment roles are identified separately. These are Kyle’s career affiliations, not a Henderson & Co. client roster or endorsements.
BEYOND THE BUSINESS
Doses of Narcan/naloxone distributed through collaborative efforts I contributed to at The Sandgaard Foundation.
I’ve led nonprofit initiatives and helped bring people together around prevention, recovery, entrepreneurship, and community impact. That experience reinforces how I want to work: with care for the people affected by the decisions.
A collaborative public-health effort with partners—not an outcome attributable to one person.
